Web-Ready

You can find outdoor security camera systems that provide either a web ready DVR or computer hookup that provides you live monitoring through the internet.  You can monitor your home and property from anywhere in the world where you have internet access.

Motion Sensing

You can get systems with cameras that are equipped with motion sensors.  The security system will turn on and begin recording when the motion sensors are activated.  This is a handy feature if you do not have a DVR or computer with lots of memory.
